Teesri Kasam (meaning third vow) was well received by critics and took the National Film Award for Best Feature Film.

Great song! Guitar based, very Spanish music influenced song. 

I remember watching this movie on T.V. when I was a kid growing up in India. It's a good comedy romance drama movie. This film is the unofficial remake of Come September, which is a 1961 romantic comedy. I don't mind watching the movie again. Definitely a good song to cover singing with an acoustic guitar. Perhaps I will do that someday.

Day 7, today I go back to the black and white era. 1968 movie Saraswatichandra, directed by Govind Saraiya. Music direction by Kalyanji-Anandji, and lyrics by Indeevar, this song Chanda Sa Badan sung by Mukesh and Lata in the movie is a memorable song which has gone on to become a timeless classic, a masterpiece set to the lilting melody of raga Yaman Kalyan.

I have always loved this song from the time I heard it in my childhood when the cassette tape of this song used to be played at home, or if and when radio or TV (chitrahaar) played this song. Beautiful song.

It is day 19, and today's song, Zindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli, is an evergreen, heart touching song from one of the top and memorable Bollywood movies of 1971, Anand, directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. 

Oh! what a riddle life is, sometimes it makes us smile, sometimes it makes us cry! Golden super song of all times, sung by none other than the great superlatively amazing singer with a golden voice and superb singing skills, Manna Dey. Lyrics by Yogesh are deep and brimmed with basic yet profound lessons of life. Music composed by Salil Chaudhury.

The movie was pictured with Rajesh Khanna playing the character of a man at the door step of his death. He knows he is terminal, yet he is a cheerful and a joyous man who brings love and goodwill to everyone, wherever he goes. He spreads Anand, bliss!
