It is day 35 of 300, and today's song is not a very popularly known song. The song is titled Bole Re Papihara. Sung by Vani Jairam, the song is from the 1971 movie Guddi, directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee (I think I have watched just about all of his movies). Music directed by Vasant Desai, and lyrics written by my all time favorite, Gulzar, the great!

This song has a very Carnatic music flair to it. I do not know what raga this song is based on, but I also do not know if it is Vani Jairam's awesome Carnatic style singing that gives me a feel of that in this song.
