Today my audio interface stopped working, and then a little later my iMac stopped booting. Argh! what a day! what a day! So, now I am having to tear down my home recording studio, and build a new setup. Oh! well. I guess it is time to upgrade, says the flow of events. So be it. :)
But, since I record this on my ipad with the earphones, I was able to record the song of the day and post, so I am glad.
Today's song is Humne Dekhi Hai Un Aankhon Ki Mehekti Khushboo by Lata Mangeshkar from the 1970 movie Khamoshi, directed by Asit Sen. Music composed by one of my top favorite music composers of classic Bollywood, Hemant Kumar (Hemanta Kumar Mukhopadhyay). Lyrics written by my all time favorite number one lyricist, Gulzar, the great. This song has talent oozing in all ways. A sweet, yet deep and profound song.
