I am beginning to see that many of my favorite #Bollywood classic #songs are written by Gulzar and composed by R.D. Burman. S.D. Burman is my most favorite music director of Bollywood, best of all times. Gulzar is easily the bestest (if there is such a word, and there is in the south) writer of all times.

I know this song from the R.D. Burman Gulzar CD that I used to have about 20 years ago when CD was the medium.

Strange Movie Nikaah. I watched it few months ago and I thought the story was one of self pity. The wife of a owner of a very large international shipping company is sad and sing this song because her husband is too busy. Really!? A man who is the owner of a big international shipping company is of course going to be very busy. How can a wife expect her man to not be busy, I wondered.
