It is day 270 of 300. almost there to 300 songs. Some songs came out better than others. Some recordings I can forget, some I am happy I am learning. It was back in Jan 2021, in the peak of #COVID #pandemic, I decided to learn, record and post 300 #Bollywood classic Hindi songs. This is my first posting of a song sung by Lata Mangeshkar after she passed away on February 06, 2022. I can never forget the date because I was in India that day. I think it was late morning when I saw the news feed on my handheld device that she passed away. 

Lataji was a legend of legends. The Nightingale of India. Easily the oldest of the singers, and a an icon. Rest in Peace Lataji. I touch her feet for her blessings always. She has been very instrumental in my learning Hindi Bollywood songs in the last couple years. I had not sung any Hindi songs since high school because after high school I was into rock n roll and only played rock music. Thanks to the Corona pandemic lockdown which brought me back to Bollywood classic songs, the songs that I knew from my childhood and from my father's music collections. I am so grateful.
