Day 9: Today's song is Nakhrewali by Kishore Kumar - New Delhi (1956)

So it is day 9, 2nd Feb 2012. 291 more day to go until I get to song number 300. One song a day, that too only old classic Bollywood songs. well, I only know old songs, lol!
Some of these classic songs I am singing are from before my time or even before my birth.
This song I picked today is from the 1956 Hindi movie New Delhi directed by Mohan Segal. The song titled Nakhrewali was sung by Kishore Kumar. He in the only singer in the day who could sing this song because he was the only singer in the Bollywood industry that could yodel, and yodel well. Definitely a fun song to sing, Nakhrewali was written by Shakeel Badayuni, and composed by Shankar Jaikishan.

So here is my solo acoustic version (posted 09/22/2022):
And here is my rendition with backing track:.
I am still learning to use the app and get a decent sound and balance.

Lyrics:

Nakharewaalee, dekhane mein dekh lo hain kaisee
bholeebhaalee
Ajanabee ye chhoreeyaan, dil pen daale doreeyaan, man kee
kaalee
Wo to koee aaur thee jo aakhon se, samaa gayee dil mein.

Berahum bewafaa
Apanaa kuchh ataa pataa bataa to de
Bekalee, bekasee
Kuchh to kam ho, fir se muskuraa to de
Wo to koee aaur thee jo aakhon se, samaa gayee dil mein.

Thank you for listening
peace
